Nice looking rifle Ren. Can you give a parts list and cost of the build, I would like to try something like that I have $600.00 to start with.

Thanks from XM25Ren

First thanks for the compliment, it is appreciated. I can do a list of parts and their cost but you will find that your $600.00 won't go very far.

GWsofLA receiver Custom Heel Stamp $900.00
TRW Barrel Mint/Like New $500.00
TRW Bolt New $350.00
TRW Op-Rod Retab/Like New $225.00
TRW Trigger Group (housing, Hammer, Safety) $400.00
TRW Rear Sight Base/Wright Windage,WCE Elevation $125.00
TRW Op-Rod Guide $25.00
S.E. Overton/TRW Stock $300.00
Winchester Gas Cylinder/New from Tube $110.00
H&R Gas Plug New from Wrap $30.00
Spindle Valve/Spring $10.00
Brookfield Piston $125.00
Brookfield NM Spring Guide $100.00
Flash Suppressor/New $125.00
Front Sight $20.00
Firing Pin/Chrome $40.00
Build Cost/Jon Wolfe $680.00

I didn't add it up but IIRC over the $4000.00 mark.

Any other parts I may have forgotten won't add up to much more, say less than a hundred.

Like I told you before, I believe a Bula build would be perfect for your first M14.

Ren

Ren - beautiful rifle!

I know how hard it is to find the parts you use and the cost hurts, but you have some of the finest rifles period!

You need to come down to Atlanta so we can burn some powder - I want to see you shoot one even if it's mine.

Some day I want you to build a VERY economical shooter - I can show you how to do it on a budget so you can fire away and not worry!

Congratulations - M1Army

Thanks from forceman and XM25Ren

Beautiful rifle.
Let's see some of the groups you have shot with it. What are you using for ammo yourself?

Thanks Art,

She is one of a kind for sure. The target is there as proof to her accuracy in the right hands, never said my hands. Jon Wolfe is known to be a good shot with a rifle and it is his shooting which is proof enough to the high value I place on this rifle.

I would not dare say that I am equal to the task, just that the rifle is.

The rifle is capable in the right hands. Now if we were talking trap, skeet, sporting clays, or the big bear.... I'm your huckleberry

I'm tired of everyone posting these beautiful builds and making me want to make one of my own when I don't have the money for another at the moment.
