I know every part in my kit is a TRW part.
Joe,

They surely would have used new parts, but I don't believe they would have concerned themselves with solely TRW parts.

I choose Winchester parts because I have them new three deep. I have several complete TRW kits but already have plans for them.

I assume when you say every part in my kit is TRW, you mean the stamped parts, there's no way of knowing where the rest came from.

The objective lens was cracked. The scope internal parts are epoxied in place, Leupold said it could not be taken apart. When this scope was under military contract Leupold would just simply replace the defective scope. No repairs.

Well, if I thought it could have been fixed I would still have the damn thing. I sent it back to the owner. I was told by Leupold it could not be fixed, others said the same thing.

I guess I will keep looking for the correct scope but until I find one will just do with a Leupold Mark IV of current manufacture.

TRW parts may be more prevalent due to Mitch M. previously working for TRW.

Joe,

Mr.Mitch M. did not work for TRW that I am aware of, he worked for H&R(Harrington&Richardson) .

I would give you my Ex-wife for that Brookefield Stock liner. Anyone know where I could get such a Beast?

You have to sell your soul to find one these days.

Seriously, good luck.

Great pictures Ren! Keep them coming!

Your post reminds me that I need to take some better pictures of my smear pattern McMillan. You probably saw the pictures of the Super Match when I bought it here last year. The stock is literally a "work of art" in itself, ha!

Cass, I think that's the one I almost bought just for the stock... Couldn't quite justify it though...
