USNGM1sw,

Thanks for that great photo, I don't suppose you have anymore of that particular rifle? Could you give us any insight about the rifle and or the man carrying it?

Thanks again.

USNGM1sw - I do hope you'll chime in...

Ren, I'll go out on a limb here. The picture is definitely a few years old as the camo pattern is not the current issue. The M14 rifle appears to have the Pachmayr buttplate, but I'm not 100% sure. It definitely has the "older" Harris bipod (9-13" length as opposed to the shorter benchrest version typically seen over the past decade or so). It looks like a black McMillan stock with improvised cheek piece. Optic is the B&L 10x Tactical scope. I wish a little more picture resolution was available.

So, my guess is its a pic form the 1990s or early 200Xs of an Army(?) M25 rifle...but seriously USNGM1sw, feel free to correct me...there are very few color photos of vintage Army or Navy M25 rifles, and most of your awesome pics are Navy SSR rifles...is it a Navy rifle? please tell us what you know, thanks...;-)

Thanks from XM25Ren

The pic is from a buddy of mine. It's a Navy rifle. Rubber butt pad on the stock. 2007. I'll ask more about it when I get the chance.

Thanks from XM25Ren
