Pretty safe to say that my rifles are getting some highlights soon. Kind of a nice way to accent the roll marks I want to show off and maybe hide the import marks on some of my other milsurps as well.
Personally I think white "pops" the best, followed by yellow. I think orange might be a little much, but hey.....it's your car, so paint it whatever you want!

If anyone is having trouble with very shallow engraving, you can use a razor blade to peel off the excess paint without wiping with acetone until dry. I use the same method more or less as Jersey Devil.

Thanks from Jersey Devil

I used model paint and wiped it off with my thumb.

Thanks from M14wannabe

You might try wiping off the extra paint with a credit card after putting it on. This will most of the extra paint off and be sure to clean your card after each wipe.
