Where is the best place to get a USGI stock, preferably fiberglass. I have a scout squad that I bought new in February. It is in the green composite stock now. Can a USGI stock make alot of difference as far as accuracy? A re there any other advantages?

I saw a some forsale a couple days ago on GB. I'm not sure if they are still there, but you might check to see.

pm me i have a couple spares im not using, as far as advantage definitely the stiffness of the stock and the reduced flex, also thre are few things you can do to apolymer stock compared to the fiberglass if you can play with playdo you can repair a glass stock reinforce it and modify it fairly easy

Just curious, what do you think the weight difference is between a USGI wood stock and a synthetic USGI stock??

hard to say since there is different variations in wood types and density that were used, i have had significant weight variations between birch and walnut, i know someone posted the differences in weight a ball park would be if i remember correctly usgi glass 3lbs 6oz and wood usgi 2 lbs 8oz i dont think is very much, glass is always gonna be more durable, wood for me is about presentation, i love nicely refinished wood stocks with nice grains

Depends on what you want to spend. Hammonje has a few for sale on the CMP forum, but they're in the $160 range.
