Price Check on new M1A standard?

Hi guys, I'm set on buying a new M1A standard with a walnut stock MA9102. I'm wondering what you guys are paying for them and what kind of deal I should be expecting. Is $1430 shipped a good deal? Should I be shooting lower? I just wanted to know what the current going rate for these rifles is.

Thanks!

Joe

Sounds pretty reasonable. I have definitely seen them much higher.

$1430 is not a good deal, it's not a bad deal either, it's kind of in between. You could get a loaded model for $20 more than that at CDNN.

Hmmm. There was one that didn't sell on gunbroker but I have the sellers contact info. Would $1350 shipped be an insulting offer to him do you think? Lord knows how long I'd have to wait for springfield to make another batch. Do they make these rifles quite frequently or are they only make a certain gun only twice a year like Colt

Whenever I want a price check on something (guns) I check
on budsgunshop.com. They have rock bottom pricing usually on most
firearms and accessories.

Good Luck!

Budsgunshop.com has them for $1422 shipped. That's where I usually go to price check.

Buds is $1422 shipped. And I don't like the 3% credit card fees. By the time my money order would make it to them, they may have sold it. I'm not too crazy about how they operate over there.

I've only bought a used pistol from them, but I paid by MO. I believe they put the item on hold for you so you can get the payment there. I was very satisfied with them. They communicated every step of the way.

Buds

If you have the money for a money order you can send an E-Check. No fee, same as cash because it is. And it is yours no wait.

A lot of these guys will state in the ad how many they have in stock. If it's more than 4, I would go the MO route. If it's not stated in the ad, call them up and find out how many are in stock. Already have a signed copy of your dealers FFL, and mail it out with the USPS MO(s). Mail those out the quickest way possible. I do agree that the added 3% does not make this the best deal. This way you have a chance to win. dozier

PS: On GB they have a list of FFLs in your area that will do transfers cheap. Contact them to find out how much. A guy in my area does it for $20 total no matter the cost of they rifle.

Buds has 2 in stock. One on the floor being touched by customers, the other NIB in the warehouse. If I'm forking out this kind of cash, I'd want the unmolested one. They won't hold anything for me unless I do the online layaway. In that case, they only accept credit card and then I get hit with 3% again.

On top of that, now I'm having a panick attack. Do I get the standard or the loaded?! eeeek! lol I feel like I have to move fast or they'll both be gone. Are these things that hot where they are selling that fast or is Springfield starting up production again and it'll be another month or two before they're available again?

I try to avoid extra fees whenever I can but if I had to pay 3%, I wouldn't cry about it because that is still less than half of what my state's sales tax is.

$1400 is a good price. I've seen them about the same at retail gun stores in the Phoenix area this weekend.
