Question SOP sling with harris bi-pod

Just bought a 3 point SOP sling from specter gear. I like it very much but tonight i borrowed my friends harris bipod and noticed that to mount the QD stud i will have to mount it forward or aft of the existing sling bracket in order to allow the SOP sling to wrap around the fore grip and hand guard. Anyone have a harris bipod and sop sling on their Sai scout and how is it configure.

I haven't seen many people use three point slings on their M14 type rifles. The 1907 sling is by far the most popular, followed by the GI web sling. The 1907 is an excellent shooting sling, which is what most M14 owners want. Not too many guys wanting CQB slings on their M14.
