Hey guys!
I want to get my 7.62mm gun redone with a heavy barrel and a few other parts, but I am seeing that none of the good armorers work on 7.62mm receivers.
Any advice?

Yeah, send it back to Chris. I'm sure he can get it turned around relatively quick

Chris would be my first choice. That way you protect your warranty, too.

Chris had mine back to me in 10 days and it was a great job that was shipping both ways

How recently did you have this work done?

My kit was delivered to Chris on January 9th. I picked it up at my FFL on January 31st. Shot show slowed him down a little.

My first build was last March and it too a week.

Both are beauties, an SA and HR.

As far as I know, only Ted Brown doesn't touch 762 receivers. i just looked on Jon Wolfe's site and he doesn't state anything about not touching 762's.

Other than Ted, who else doesn't build them?

Warbird will not either. I am unsure On Wolfe as I don't have his link.

Wow! I didn't know that. He used to sing praises to them as if they were the best receivers that you could get.

Ya check his site out. 762 is not listed on his list of receiver that he will work on. Out of my own curiousty, is that because they are out of spec sometimes? Also if so, is it more the cast or forged ones? I have a forged one and it seems like it is built good. Then again I do not know much about these firearms.
