| Bolt stop pins
The member that asked for advice on Bolt stop removal had the question answered. How ever you decided to remove the pin be careful as suggested.
Here is a tip on installing a new pin.
Take the new pin to be used and chuck it up in a drill press, secure only enough pin to hold it steady, about 1/8" or a little more, Using 80 or 100 grit paper/cloth, reduce the exposed portion of the pin.. Remove the pin and test fit until it can be pushed into the hole with some force. Good idea to add lube to the pin before hand testing.
On final installation the original portion of the pin will secure it as it is driven into place... This reduction of the pin will also allow the stop to rotate freely.
With this procedure done the next replacement will be a good deal easier, nothing to look forward to however..
