Commercial One Piece Forged Op-Rods

I'm looking at swapping out my SAI Op-Rod for one of the one piece forged Op-Rods currently available. Treeline has the 7.62 example in stock, I'm on the verge of ordering one from him along with a couple of other upgrades. I'm also looking at the SEI and the LRB Op-Rods. I'd be very interested in opinions from the membership. Thanks.

The RWB's from Korea have a good track record. Some came to the US not stamped & some companies had their own names put on them.

the one piece forged RWB op rods have a good reputation or quality here in Canada. However, the tab tends to be a bit on the largish size and you might have some extra time fitting an RWB to get it to slide smoothly in an SAI receiver, which some times have smallish and roughly machine slots.
YPMMV

goodluck with that.

I have run 2 different 7.62mm op rods in a SAI loaded. Both fit and ran fine.

Thanks from Hiram325

I have a SEI unit in an Armscorp build and the fit is excellant (better than my TRW unit in a SAI).

Only one SAI which I have now sold. I believe it was a '08 or '09 model. Tried two different rods on the rifle and both fit good. Sold it with one of the 7.62 rods installed.

If you're still reading, I don't know why you'd make that switch if the SAI op rod you already own works as designed, has a good tab, and stays inside the rail except when you choose to dismount it. I've been running one on a real good M1A close to 30 years now without a hiccup through a lot of rounds fired. They don't tend to cause problems on the scale of some of SAI's other non-USGI parts. I'd keep what I had and spend the $$$ on bullets and powder..

Thanks from 82nd ABN

All input is appreciated, would you mind elaborating on the bolded part? I'm interested in learning as much as possible.
