That is right. Forgot about that. Man how fun would that be taking a new M1a and an AR10 and try to destroy the weakest one first while filming it all? Man I'd be loving it. No holds barred battle for superiority. Oh I put one bullet a 1/16" closer and I called them two "fliers" so the AR10 wins. Screw that boys! Haha we'd be playing for keeps with that sort of testing. I am not ,what is worse, s eeing the pile of wasted arms ( many of whom probably helped bail those guys out back in ww2), or the belief that it was sheer evil that caused those piles.

I'm not surprised that the rifle survived, that being said, I don't guess the rubber buttpad on mine would fare as well as the USGI metal butt plate in the video.

Note to self; upgrade to USGI metal butt plate.

In a later issue of G&A they rebuilt the rifle to .338 Federal, she's still alive and well fella's

You guys remember the Norinco versus SA Inc torture tests from the early 90's? They werent quite as imaginative as this one but still.......................
