Nope, wasn't me. I don't remember which thread that was either.

You're right though, an M1 carbine would be a lot easier to manage. And after a quick search, someone's already making one... Inland Manufacturing just released a carbine pistol.

Universal and Iver Johnson made 30 Carbine pistols 40 years ago, one of them was called the "Enforcer"

That was actually the first thing I saw when I searched. It's fascinating how many old designs are being reintroduced today.
