I know this is going to be next to impossible to pull off but I thought I would toss it out there. I want to practice match shooting specifically slow prone so brookhaven is not really an option. we would have to go to Calverton. Maybe we will get lucky and have a day like we did on last sunday. At noon it felt like a spring day. Any takers? I am going to go at least once in the next month before the next match.

My last two trips to Calverton resulted in me just bailing and going home. WAAAAy to crowded for my comfort level, and my desire for immediate gratification. I'm going to have to take another trip one of these days though as I have my first M1a inbound to me this week, and have a new AR optic to sight in. I'm going to try and bang out a day during the week though.

I spoke to the guy I bought my M1a from, he's not shipping until next Monday now, so I'm behind a week. I'll send a PM when I can get out there. I've got plenty of reasons to go.

How's the Brookhaven Range? I looked at the website, and it seems pretty nice, but I've got no idea concerning range fees, etc. Looks small compared to Calverton as well.

It can get crowded, I usually get there at 845 and your good to go. Most guys shoot the 100 yardine leaving pleanty of 200 spots open. Range fee is 18 dollars. Shooting from bench only
