No1 Ruger SS Varminter

There was a limited production run on these Ruger No1 SS HB Varmint guns and I decided to grab one before they went Extinct. This Rifle is in .223Rem. Now I have to get a Decent Scope. The Addiction is incurable.

Thanks from joesig, KyAggie, XUSNORDIE and 2 others

I bought my 1B Sporter back in '83. It's a .257 Roberts with a 26" barrel. I think you've got a great gun; enjoy it.

Let us know how it shoots. Always wanted one in 338 WM for elk hunting due to the shorter overall length; handier to carry in the mountains. Ended up with a used Blaser R93 in 300 WM instead; also a short overall length compared to a normal bolt gun. No longer live in Idaho; only need my 45-70 guide gun in Kentucky.

There's definitely something about those that makes me want one every time I pick one up.
