Went down and got my name on one at the local Pawn Shop. Ships in Feb??? The web site said they were sold out but the clerk put it on the "wish list", thought I would stop by tomorrow and check with the owner and find out what is up. Been waiting along time for a 41 mag!!!

I was hoping there would be some news on this from Henry from the SHOT Show.

I did a search, and it appears that Henry doen't even have booth?

I got an e-mail from the boss the other day.

''Getting ready to ship 41 Mags any day now.''

Sincerely,

Anthony Imperato

President,
Henry Repeating Arms, Co.

Find a Lipsey's dealer. They know about it. I have mine ordered with deposit.

Thanks from dsdmmat

Is there any reason to believe these are a "Lipsey's only" offering?

It's just a standard Big Boy in .41 magnum, right?

I'll buy one if its a normal rifle available through normal distribution.
I'm not going to pay a Lipsey's premium for such a gun.

Yes , it would seem these are a Lipsey's exclusive. As with most exclusive limited runs , Lipsey's is the guarantor that the whole first run will be sold. If they all sell , Henry might see fit to make it a regular catalog item.

M14E2 can you ask the Mr. Imperato for …...side loading gates?

I'm in for 2x of the 22lrs, and 2x of the 44mags, in standard blue and 1 each in the Silver Boy format!

No , but you can!

I'm thinking the type of mag tube & follower used is surperior. The King's patent loading gate has shortcomings of it's own. I have 2 Marlins and some bullet shapes are hard to get in and the gate always bites my thumb tip. Plus the Henry's mag tube is easier to empty , more easily cleaned without disassembly and the brass liner won't rust.

Thanks from Grateful Lead and dsdmmat

I'm in on buying a .41 mag lever action. I've always been a fan but have missed out on the Marlin.

Maybe the Henry rifle company may find that those of us who favor the .41 are really as much of a minority as they thought

Several have sold on Gunbroker in last few days.

Folks are paying $100+ over the price for the same gun in other calibers.
