I'm interested to see if they can extend the storyline beyond that of the movie. I don't really see how they can, at least not by much, so this looks to me to be more of a mini-series than an ongoing series. It is interesting how they have modified the characters from the movie, though not too happy to find that the former Marine captain is the Danny Glover character. I don't care for Marine traitors or Marines who screw over other Marines.

BTW, a little bit of fake recoil would have made the shot with the M1 a bit more believable.

The actor sucks. Terrible show.
Ask me how I really feel.

Agreed. Pretty much lost me at "223 isn't powerful enough to kill anything larger than a squirrel". There are others, but that one stuck out.

There's plenty they can adapt:

1. how did he know the M1 was loaded ??did not checked to see if bullet was in the chamber.
2. I guess that was his rifle, so he didn't have to zero it!!.
3. he ran the 1580 meters in less than 5 seconds, and was not even breathing hard.

Sounds like me when I was younger. At 69 it takes me almost 10 seconds these days. Oh wait, that's meters, not millimeters. Never mind.

Thanks from mustang7 and ChicagoMike

In the 5th episode there is a scoped m1a. I'm watching it for a little entertainment. Not the everything is perfectly zeroed to the distance I'm shooting to drop a branch on people moments.

I haven't decided what I think. I hated the first episode (don't recall why), warmed up a little over the last couple of episodes but the jury is still out.

I'm also concerned about the next season. Do they mis-adapt another Hunter novel?

I guess I'll have to wait a little longer to decide.
