Ya, like TMZ is a reliable source for anything. And you talking about something from 2009.
But yes, Vince did leave Red Jacket.

I hate these shows anyways.

They have to stupid everything up so people can understand it. Turned the business into a reality show and I hope the other show goes down with them.

Overall, it's one show the firearms community could do without. Haven't liked it since day one, but it does have it's followers. Seems like too much scripting and wierd builds that are too unrealistic. It's a shame the NRA has jumped on their band wagon. Just my opinion...

I have never been a fan of this particular show. I am not a fan of reality television. I just find it interesting they got in trouble, and it all happened in 2009.

+ 1 on the TMZ not being very cite worthy. A friend who likes the show sent me this link. I just wanted to share with the forum.

Merry Christmas all.

i have watched the show a few times. what idiots! they only make junk, imo.

their methods and techniques belong on orange county chopper not in a gun shop.

they take and turn perfectly good guns into fantasy junk.

some of the stuff they produce can never be released to the public but they make it seem that way though.

i got a laugh out of one of the hiring conditions, "must be willing to clean the toilets". no qualified gunsmith or machinist would ever demean himself to that level.

i wonder who comes in to advise on projects like the 57mm antitank gun or their mickey mouse gas conversions of the 20mm orlikon's and 40mm bofors?

they can't seem to get browning 30's and 50's to work first shot either.

POC show anyways. Was eager to watch it, was very disappointed after watching one episode. The older guy was a DICK (sorry if i cant say that here but he was)!!! They never made anything realistic or noteworthy.

The boss man cracks me up. Overly protective of his daughter with the one good guy when she obviously can't separate the wheat from the chaff. I am grateful though that he keeps the harping on his Marine service to a bare minimum.

I watched this show some. One episode had a guy that was a novice machinists turn out a custom aluminum stock that looked like a CNC job. Supposedly he followed a paper pattern freehand. I had a hard time with that.

I can barely stand that "show" which tries to pass off a script as a "regular, spontanious day" with bubblegum drama. If yoh think this show is bad then pray that "Danger Pawn" never hits the airwaves.

All I know is the old man needs therapy, maybe he suffers from post tramatic divorce syndrome, his daughter laughs like a donkey, and her BF is a fruit loop. I recall one show where the fuddy duddy started yelling at everyone because some left the front door unlocked.. I mean come on is a business. and another where he ran off an old guy looking at guns to buy because he was taking to long.

Thanks from Swamp Rat

Most of these programs have the same old formula. A bossy old codger, semi nude girlfriend, workers who look like or actually are criminals, building stuff that could be dangerous to use. But, IMO, the new "Triggers" program is worse, at least from a "content" point of view. The show about the 1911 Colt, had about 6-7 minutes of material about the Colt, and the rest of the show was about wheel lock guns, muskets, and a fast forward to Beretta 9s'. The M1 Garand program was even worse. I won't be watching any more of their shows.

Really? Then I've been working for the wrong folk for a long time! If there's no work in the queue, we'll do just about any odd task. Plus, if one of the govn't agancies is coming for inspection, or some potential new customer, work will cease for general cleaning, etc. even if work has to sit a bit. Eye-wash industries...no matter where you are, unionized shops might be different, but they seem to keep closing.

Just totally fishy that none of this comes up till after Will Hayden posts on his facebook page that he'll be gone for a week to Arkansas where he'll have no internet or cell phone reception at the camp.
So this stuff burns & festers for a week without him knowing its going on so no reply from him.
