I've finally gotten around to watch the Vietnam in HD series on the History Channel that I DVR'd and was pleased to see quite a bit M-14 footage. I saw a mix of different sling rigs, bayonets fixed to the rifles, full auto firing, truck fulls of soldiers carrying their M-14's and also soldiers with a mix of M-14's among soldiers with thier "new" M-16's. I'm a big history buff and it was cool to see these rifles in action considering their very short service life (until recently...). I haven't seen anyone else here mention watching the series, so if anyone is interested to see live action of these rifles being fielded, and to also see a lot of unseen Vietnam footage, then I would recommend to watch the series.

Ahh...I only looked in the M-14 section, I didn't think about the Hollywood section. Chalked it up as a newb mistake.
