I work on drilling rigs so my favorite for being stupid is black gold. What a total load of hog wash. I had the misfortune of watching it the other night where they misplaced the brand new bit. They only cost more than a new crew cab dually power stroke but no one seemed to upset by it being gone other than the rig being down. I can tell you as a rig manager I would be flipping out.

I think reality TV is geared to the intellegence of the target demographic. If you are insulted by it then you probably don't fit the demographic.

I have reached the point that TV is more background noise. I watch the documentaries when I can find some that actually make sense. Usually they were produced several years ago, although Alaska State Troopers seems to be one of the more realistic reality shows. Other than that the sitcoms from the early 90's and before and the Western channel seem to take more of my time. For some reason I need more of a reason to laugh lately.
