I watched the first episode last week, it is pretty entertaining but like any other reality show it has added and unneeded drama.

That's a local shop here in Denver and they have pissed off the fair share of people. Just google "Gunsmoke in colorado" and you'll see some reviews of them.
I've also heard that in the past if you had them do some work on a 1911 or something that it would come back with their name engraved on the slide. 
you should see the threads on co-ar15 forums about these knuckle heads. Its quite funny.

Heh, you said fox news.
I like Top Shot so-so. But the whole voting off thing is a bit odd and can seem childish. Also, it feels like advertising is getting rammed down your throat the entire time.

The guys daughter as dressed a little too skimpy for her age and the fact that she was walking around all those bikers. I kept thinking how can a father be alright with that.
His wife's eyes are too close. I keep hearing internal banjo music when she is talking into the camera. I'll take top shot any day over this show

the wife... not so much.

The show is so-so. The daughter dresses a little to skimpy for my taste. I'm waiting on the dad, to see if he is going to be as big a dueche bag as the dad on sons of gun. But, it's still a gun show, I'll watch it over all the other crap on TV nowadays.

found some threads on another forum talking about how that gunshop and the owner guy is pretty horrible, rips people off (border line steals), how he's been in jail, and a bunch of other stuff. i expect this show to be more drama filled than american choppers.

WOW i am over the "hot girl shoots gun" routine. I have a "hot girl shoots a gun" of my own  
anyways this show is about as dumb as the rest of the guy+family owns store reality shows. Im just waiting for this crap to pass. The show is over scripted and its one more show that takes away from the informative feel that the Discovery channel used to have(circa 90's)
Im just gonna say it...as a 20's something guy even i feel the daughter is shoving skank down our throats. If i have offended you..i dont apologize because i call how i see it.
the only interesting part is the son and his developing skills as an engraver. everything else is pretty much fake wife, douche dad, and skank daughter.

/my take | Ole dad sure does seem to come off as a huge D-bag on the show and from what I have read on line that seems to be the reality part of the show.
