"Rocket City Rednecks" GI1

During the credits at the beginning of the show, "Pete" is shown shooting a M-1A (Wonder if he is a member here?). So far no further sightings of a M-1A, but still fairly new.
Wednesday nights on the National Geographic channel at 9 pm Eastern/8 Central. Travis S. Taylor is an actual US Army Missile Command (Redstone Arsenal) scientist (Ph.D., 3 M.S. & B.S.) and has done work with NASA (Marshall Space Flight Center) as well. He is also an author of both hard science and science-fiction (co-author with John Ringo). Pete is an scientist for NASA. Family and friends round out the collection of "back-yard mechanics". Premise of the show is to do what US Army and NASA do for billions of our dollars, they do in a weekend and on a "beer budget". Very thought-full and funny, and with plenty of guns in view (heck, it's here in Alabama!!).
Next time you think about putting down rednecks, think about these guys!
