FIRING SCHEDULE:
ALL FIRING WIL BEGIN AT 0900 Hrs.
Revolver 1500 will be fired first, followed by Semi-Auto 1500
TEAM MATCHES WILL BE UNFIRED, SCORES WILL BE TAKEN FROM MATCH 5 SCORES.


There will be no separate team matches for revolver and semi-auto.Teams may be a mix of Revolver or Semi-auto, but the team members and the match to be used (Revolver or Semi-Auto) must be declared prior to any firing.


Extra squads will be added for Revolver or Semi-Auto only if the line is full. Example: if there are more than 20 shooters signed up for the Revolver 1500, a second squad will commence firing immediately after the first squad has completed the 1500.


There will be sufficient time allowed between squads to allow for change of equipment.
ELIGIBILITY: NRA Rule 2.4, CURRENT NRA MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED


RULES: Current NRA Police Pistol Combat Rules shall govern.
REGISTRATION: Advanced entries are requested, with complete name, address, zip code, and
CORRECT CLASSIFICATION. E/Mail registration (bransom@verizon.net) or USPS registration will be appreciated. Deposits to hold a position are not required. Positions for persons who pre-register will be held until fifteen minutes prior to relay time, after which the position will be given to walk-on entries. All matches will be squadded, as explained above. ENTRIES WILL ONLY BE CONFIRMED IF A SELF ADDRESSED, STAMPED ENVELOPE IS PROVIDED, OR E/MAIL ADDRESS IS GIVEN.

CLASSIFICATIONS: Current NRA Police Pistol Combat classifications (High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, Marksman, and Classified will be used in this match. Competitors who do not have a current Police Pistol Classification, or an assigned/temporary classification must compete in the High Master Class (Rule 19.2)TARGETS: Rule 4.1- NRA OFFICIAL B-27 on Paper-Turning Targets.
SCORING: Scoring will be done by competitors on the line at the conclusion of each match. PASS RIGHT - SCORE LEFT.CHALLENGES: There will be a $3.00 fee to challenge the scoring of any target which will be returned to the competitor if the challenge is upheld. Challenges will be decided by the official NRA referee or three man jury.
AWARDS: CASH - A competitor will be given only one award in any
one match. There will be no category awards, and classes will be combined if the number of competitors in a given classification is less than FIVE.
Revolver and Semi-Auto will be separated for awards.State Champion will be the Maryland resident with the highest score in EITHER Revolver OR Semi-Auto 1500 Match.COURSES OF FIRE: In all matches, time starts with a loaded gun in the holster and includes time to reload. Matches designated as double action, must be fired double action. Matches designated as single action, may be fired either single or double action.


MATCH 1 - STANDING WITHOUT SUPPORT POSITION AT 7 & 15 YARDS.
Match 1 is fired in two stages of 12 shots each, double action, standing without support position. The first stage is fired at 7 yards and the second stage is fired at 15 yards. Time allowed is 20 seconds per stage.


MATCH 2 - KNEELING AND STANDING COURSE AT 25 YARDS
Match 2 consists of 6 shots kneeling without the use of the barricade; 6 shots standing left-handed from behind the left side barricade; and 6 shots standing right-handed from behind the right barricade. All firing is double action from 25 yards. Time allowed is 90 seconds.


MATCH 3 - SITTING, PRONE AND STANDING COURSE AT 50 YARDS
Match 3 consists of 6 shots fired sitting; 6 shots fired prone; 6 shots standing fired with the left hand using the left barricade; and 6 shots standing fired right hand using the right barricade. Firing may be single or double action from 50 yards. Time allowed is 2 minutes and 45 seconds.


MATCH 4 - STANDING WITHOUT SUPPORT POSITION COURSE - 25 YARDSMatch 4 consists of two stages of 12 shots each, fired double action
from a standing without support position at 25 yards. Time allowed
is 35 seconds per stage.


MATCH 5 - NRA NATIONAL POLICE COURSE
THE NRA NATIONAL POLICE COURSE CONSISTS OF 60 SHOTS FIRED IN 4 STAGES
AS FOLLOWS:
STAGE A - 7 yards; 12 shots fired double action standing without
support in a time limit of 20 seconds.
STAGE B - 25 yards; 18 shots fired double action. 6 shots kneeling, 6 shots standing left hand from behind left barricade, 6 shots standing right hand from behind right barricade. Time limit of 90 seconds.
STAGE C - 50 yards; 24 shots fired single or double action. 6 shots
sitting, 6 shots prone, 6 shots standing left hand from behind left
barricade, 6 shots standing right hand from behind right barricade.
Time limit is 2 minutes and 45 seconds.
STAGE D - 25 yards; 6 shots fired double action from the standing
without support position in a time limit of 12 seconds.


MATCH 6 (UNFIRED) - AGGREGATE OF MATCHES 1 THROUGH 5


MATCH 7 (UNFIRED) - THE TWO MAN TEAM MATCH - NATIONAL POLICE COURSE


MATCH 8 (UNFIRED) - THE FOUR MAN TEAM MATCH - NATIONAL POLICE COURSE


GOVERNOR’S TWENTY ELIGIBILITY: The Maryland Governor’s Twenty is an award sanctioned by the NRA and presented by the Maryland Police Combat Association. It is awarded to the top 50% of eligible competitors (maximum 20 awards) based on standings at the end of the shooting year. To be considered for this award, the competitor must be a full time (or retired) law enforcement officer as specified in NRA Rule 2.4. They must reside in Maryland and fire in at least one 1500 Match (Matches 1-5) sponsored by the Maryland Police Combat Association during the calendar year. The highest score fired in any one 1500 Match in Maryland will decide the standing of the Maryland Governor’s Twenty.
