Thinking of having another hole bored in my skull.

I picked up a stripped frame yesterday. I need this like another hole in my head. I had seen the ads for kits at Sarco for a parts kit cheap and just wanted to see if I could build a dirt cheap 1911. So I get home and jump online to buy my kit. They are still listed, but not available. They have a kit, but with no slide or barrel.
The question is where can I find something similar to those surplus kits? I have some high end 1911's and know first hand how much change can be spent. I want something cheap.

With your talent and access to machine tools I think this would be a great project for you. I'll look forward to reading how this project is coming along Memphis!

But probably shooting yourself in the foot, the cat, or the refrigerator.

Glocks should be neutered, . . . and retro-fitted for 10 oz of water, . . . and relegated to squirt gun competition.

May God bless,
Dwight
