No place to rifle shoot around where I am at today. So I hunted up an indoor pistol range and broke out the Buckmark 22. URX Standard. 5.5" barrel

That green circle is 4"

This is 10 for 10 two handed standing at 15 yards:

I try to get this pistol out a couple of times a month and to through 80 rounds or so each time.

I was using shooting lenses with 1.5 diopter. Crisped up the front sight, but the target was a bit of a fuzz ball. Shooting with the .75 diopter lens left the sight a bit fuzzy, but the target pretty clear.

I have purchased and experimented with the following diopter lenses:
.5 .75 1.0 1.5

I bought this range of lenses to accommodate everything from a short LR308 with 16" barrel to the M1917 Eddystone. The Buckmark at arms length is kind of in the middle.

(Don't laugh, you young'uns. Just hope you are still shooting at 64 too.)

Thanks from Rich D

I have a ruger mark 3 that I shoot a good bit. It's cheap to shoot and keeps you honest. Yes it has a great trigger but it's heavy bull barrel 6. Something inches. It's a relief to hold a 1911 still after holding it.
