How do you do that? It would be good to know, so that I can avoid doing it :)
I didn't mess with them much....If I remember correctly it had to do with not dry firing before removing slide, and/or not pulling down (both) slide locks fully and trying to force the slide forward. This was 1986 "ish"? when the 17 came out. People loved it, novelty at first I guess.....I immediately disliked it....felt slippery just firing it into the shop clearing barrel.

If you can't read the directions and field strip a glock, you need a mental evaluation.

I think everybody should own at least one Glock, that way if a buddy needs to borrow a gun you wouldn't have to give him one of your good ones.

Zachary Disease

The worst thing about a Glock is they have Zachary disease. Don't know what Zachary disease is? Read on:

A young girl had never had a date. She was friendly, smiled a lot but just never got asked out by any guys.

She decided to go to a doctor. He checked her for any body odor, bad breath, anything that would turn a man off. Finally the doctor told her to go stand in the corner, turn her back to him, pull her pants down, bend over and look between her legs back at him.

She said, "Do what?" He repeated his instructions. So she went to the corner and did what the doctor asked.

The doctor took one look and said "That's it, you have Zachary disease!" The young girl got upset and asked what is Zachary disease? The doctor replied "Yo face looks Zachary like yo ass!"

Msn describes the glock as the sleek handgun is the most popular in America.

Now personally I would never use the adjective of "sleek" when thinking of a Glock. Brick yes, sleek no.

Once again proves MSN are idiots. Reading their stuff is like watching an accident.

Just a thought, how about Aberdeen Proving Grounds determine which weapon is best for the Army?

I wouldn't use sleek, but for a style so blocky they are pretty efficient in the width department due to lack of various controls. Now the large frame 20s and 21s maybe not as much.

The slide looks like rebar. I see it snagging on things.

APG is in Maryland......those handguns the Army is interested in are not on the Maryland approved list......; )

Besides....the boys at APG are too busy testing tank grease.......and selling it to the Harford County chicks as upper lip gloss......

Thanks from High Hat
