Sometimes I just have to carry one.

I usually carry my 1911's in Open Carry duty. However there are days I get in the mood to go way old school. I use these frequently and fire them a lot, so they are not safe queens.

Good looking irons! I have an 1875 manufactured colt front screw in .45 that I still carry occasionally when hunting. It was my Dad's and is the first weapon I remember as a very young child. He gave it to me several years before he passed. It has walrus tusk grips that a friend of his had made for him in the 60's. Prior to that it sported stag grips. I will be giving it to my oldest boy soon.

I can get in a Texas mood and just take the tactical kydex holster off, and strap on a six gun belt and holster. It tends to startle the locals at Starbucks, most of them are sheltered people and once in awhile it does a person good to see another citizen exercising his God given rights(although with a state bought permit) but that's another thread.

Here is my gun belt that I wear. Just an FYI...I built the rig myself.

Great looking outfit. I like the little Kabars, they are a great little all purpose blade. We have open and concealed carry hear in Idaho. It is not rare to see folks sporting their sidearms in public.
Never been to your great state. Will be going there for the first time next month as my daughter will be, God willing, graduating from boot at Lackland.
