MEU(SOC) .45

Around a year ago I bought some parts on the BX here that got me started on the trail of putting together a MEU(SOC) .45 tribute. Well I finally got all the parts together and had the pistol built by Dave Clark (2112) at C&H Precision. It features a Springfield Slide on a Colt U.S. Property frame, Bar-Sto barrel, PWS rear and Millet front sights, King's ambi safety and Clark grip safety with Pachmayr grips. Here she is...

Nice, very nice indeed. I really miss the Gold Cup I had, she was a beautiful pistol and helped me win a lot of money.

Well done Matt.

Very nice and with all the right parts(a tough find King safety,PWS rear sight, front sight,Pacmeyer grips etc). Then having a 2112 put it together. Good for you. If the slide&sights were on the BX early in the year you did well. I have the rear sight, front sight, barrel&grips, but know to find the other parts are tougher than some of the 14 parts we chase after. A GREAT compliment to a nice USGI M14 platform rifle. You did Very Well.
Pfc out

It was the sights and grip safety I picked up here. Scrounged the rest elsewhere. Thanks for your comments!

Edit: You're right, the slide was part of the first lot too...

Particularly with the seven grooves cut. You have to get creative. PWS took arched ones and fabricated them. I found one without the lanyard loop and added the loop. I have another flat one with loop that is smooth which could have the grooves cut...

Thanks for the comments!
