CZ SP-01 urban tactical threaded- holster option?

Cz is telling me I need to go custom leather, or custom Kydex for this particular model (91253) because of the high front sight and threaded barrel.

A few questions:
Is kydex hard on a firearms finish? Seems like it would be hard on the guns finish to me.
Anyone have this particular model in a holster they can recommend?
Anyone have a leather man that handles this model?

I'm open on holster carry options but I am left handed which is always a pain for wide options.

Thanks Chief , I will have a look. I thought Galco would be a sure thing and I have a jackass shoulder rig but they don't have a holster for it.

ALESSI, makes a holster called the Bodyguard for your CZ might hook up to the Jackass rig. Look on their site.

Thanks T,
I think I'm going with that one, even if I it doesn't work with my jackass rig, I'll get there rig if the jackass won't work.

I had a nice conversation with Tom at Alessi.
Nice guy and I like that personal touch.
They can do anything I need.

Thanks Chief.

I use an SP-01 Shadow as my IPSC competition gun (as 95% of us do up there in the Great White North) and I run it in a Bladetech kydex holster. With lots of draws you will get some wear around the muzzle but less than you might think. After many draws (a thousand or more) mine is only showing a little bare steel on a few sharp edges near the muzzle.

Thanks from chief on one
