Ouch!!! Now if someone will help me out of my recliner, and show me how to comment on that jack ****** video, I'd appreciate it.

I guess he is unaware, that using anything other than "Ball" in "warfare" is "frowned upon", but again, this guy must be an "expert" because he has a Smith & Wesson M&P cap on, and knows how to operate a video camera....

Takes all kinds to make a world. That boy leaves much to be desired.
Now to dry off my body parts that are hanging in the toilet water.
Made me chuckle.
As long as I have the strength, I will be carrying my ineffective 1911.

And the evidence is that he shot cars? It always amazes me that a round that was designed to kill a wild, wounded, crazed horse with one shot, can't stop a man.

I will remember to not carry any handgun with the .45 ACP round in it the next time I am attacked by a car windshield.

Not playing Devil's Advocate here, and after watching this guy's videos over the years he likes to be controversial with subjects to get folks riled up and clicking on his links. But, on some levels what he says in this case makes sense, just a crappy example of saying it.

Going on some memory but a good example would be the Philippine-American War when we sent soldiers armed with the 38LC, didn't take long to figure out the round just didn't knock them down, so they had to rush older stores of 45LC into that conflict that would get the job done. It also eventually led to our adoption of the 45ACP over the 9MM, gotta remember that was the tech available for the times and allowed by convention, and gave the 45ACP it's reputation as a man stopper.

Now just in the last decade or so there's been major advancements in handgun defense ammo, heavier bonded bullets for an example with better penetration & expansion that retain 99+ of their weight, I'll cite Hornady's Critical Duty in 9MM+P that passed all the FBI's stringent tests for LE, it's a hot little round that has LEO turning in their 40's for 9's because ballistics are almost the same, more firepower, cheaper and easier to arm officers of smaller stature, it's my carry round for the G19.

Where I think this Jackwagon goes wrong is the same ammunition advances that make smaller calibers better also applies to the 45ACP and makes it better too! Then it becomes a question of preferences, do you feel well armed with 7-8 rounds of 45ACP in a 1911? Or 16 rounds of 9MM in a G19? I'm sure everyone has their own preferences & arguments, this is just my .02 cents worth....

Thanks from DudleyDR, Kynoch, MrM1A and 1 others

lot of folks can't shoot the 45 worth a dang, too much recoil.great caliber.i can double/triple tap a 9 at 15 yards and hit center mass, not with a 45.i have more subguns in 9mm than i do 45,hence i chose the g26 for it's smaller size, plus the 3 g17 mags in my other pocket.i hope i never have to use it,but i will get my couple of pounds of flesh,if i do.

That guy is a douche and he likes to piss people off. I have seen some of his other videos as well. He starts with a somewhat valid piont but after listening to him you end up just wanting to slap the .... Out of him. He started by saying from 380 and up, does he really think a person is better off with a 380 than a 45acp?

Thanks from dwight55 and MrM1A

So was this video supposed to be tongue-in-cheek or does this guy really believe what he is saying?? Well, he can carry his .22 or .380 for self-defence, but as for me and mine, I'll carry my 1911 in .45ACP.

A 9mm might expand.
A .45 won't shrink.

He also joked about stepping out of the way of a 45acp.
