Glock+watermelon juice

Took my kids on a hike and picnic yesterday and had a blast. Had Glock 30 for emergency 4- or 2-legged baddies and put it plus holster in the game bag of my upland game vest along with plastic tub of watermelon, sammitches and water for the kids. Got home to discover the pistol and mags soaked in watermelon juice. LOL

Say what you will about Gaston's understanding of the anatomy of the human hand, his design is elegantly simple and intuitive to detail strip and reassemble.

It loos like you guys had a blast
Fortunately you lucked out fruit juice is easier to clean off than acid or paint
You can leave the juice on the grips for that non slip protective coating

Why was your go-to, carry pistol in your game bag of your upland game vest? What if you would have needed it RIGHT THEN?

We had a range day where we had ziploc baggies filled with various fluids that we dropped Glocks in before firing ... root beer, mud, BBQ sauce etc. It was a fun day, and we mainly did it to get the goat of the 1911 dudes.
