Just got these made. He has a few more coats before they're finished. Before and after. It's Koa wood.

Koa wood is beautiful. Expensive as hell the last time I looked at getting some for furniture made from it though.
Very interested to see how this turns out.

Finished product. Just got these in the mail today from epdesign. The pics don't do the grips justice. Especially the ones by themselves. One set on my pistol the other going to my father for xmas. Thanks Epi!!

The wood has a deep translucence grain. Almost 3d when you see them in person.
