wear a mask

dont shoot when its

go during less crowded hours.

lead poison is quantifiable so get a blood test. im sure a free clinic eould test you for lead exposure if you cannot afford.

otherwise ask for it at your yearly labs.

That's a real problem here with recent immigrants from overseas.
Usually 3-4 will gather around the person shooting in their group, and proceed
to talk all at once, waving their arms, and basically being a nuisance...

And since they are all taking in some foreign language, you have no idea
what kind of instruction they're giving their friend, who's trying to figure out
how to load, and shoot the weapon...

I tend to leave the range at that time, or take a prolonged break until they
tire and leave.

Hell, outdoor ranges are just as bad, especially if one is surrounded by a bunch of shooters.
I agree that a LOT of lead vapor follows the bullet from the barrel. I wonder if anyone has tested the air near a busy pistol range. The 2nd Amendment does not oblige us to breathe hazardous air at the range.

Been to 3 different indoor ranges. All were hot with lousy ventilation.

I like the way the Orange County (CA) Sheriff's Range handles groups. Only one shooter may occupy the booth at a time. Closely and strictly enforced.

Jbrown, was correct. Remember the video posted a while back of the so called RO shooting the ceiling with the 44 mag. I never go to formal ranges but have in the past. The people there scare me much more than the the lead! My friend runs a tire shop and messes with lead weights all day everyday and he has 4 kids and seems to be fairly healthy for someone that lives the lifestyle he does.
