1911 Custom work

I have a Loaded Parkerized Springfield Armory 1911 that has a issue with the slide not locking back with its magazines, or with any other magazines, WC, Chip McCormick, Colt, well I wont say everytime, but more often than not.

My question is, who would you guy recommend for a tuning?

Thanks for the help

A competant 1911 smith( smith who specializes in 1911) in your area can handle this. The area to look at is the slide stop engagement with the mag. Of course the usual, is the mag properly seating and locking into place? Has this always been a problem or did it just start happening? Does those mags work( engage the slide stop) in another 1911? IS your mag release loose or stuck? Does this failure occur when shooting or when manual cycling or both?

It's got a lifetime warranty and SAI isn't too picky if you're not the first owner from what I've seen.
As long as it hasn't been bubba'd and you sweet-talk the customer service folks, you'll be surprised how nice they can be to customers.
Need any trigger work, customizing done at the same time?
They do nice work too and may pay shipping each way.

Are you using a shock-buff? Sometimes they will prevent the slide from locking back.
