I dunno about y'all but I won more than a few matches with Glocks. Next best for me was an old CZ75. They're fast to get on target, have quick recovery, and work all the time. For 10s of thousands of rounds.

And if you're looking at the front sight you can't see what the rest of the dang thing looks like...

The Turtle, you didn’t sin you sold the customer what they wanted. Personally I don’t like the Glock for its angle, but I have heard nothing but good things by people who shoot them.

I gave up plastic toys when I was a kid, and when I could afford real guns, and lets here the real story after 100 plus years of service, some of which was in a little thing called "WAR".
