Very nice....I'm jealous. I guess my agency issued Glock 22C will have to do for now! lol...maybe one day I can inheirit my father in-laws HK .40 in desert tan. Everytime I take it to the range, he calls me with hours and says "Hey, make sure the HK makes it back to my safe TODAY" lmao. Maybe when he gets older it will finally make it to my house by osmosis

Can't see your pic - do you have a thread protector on your barrel?
For some reason, they look great on the pistol. I bought one from Impact Guns for mine.

Here's a little secret.
I bought the USP Tactical .40 S&W for $600 or $700 used since October or November of 2010 and held on to it and actually fell in love with the thing.
Guy (a real cool guy) on another forums had the MK23 posted for sale on the boards, and I said what the heck... I shot him the offer for a straight trade for my USP and the deal was done.
Hope you know where I'm going with this.... just gotta be patient.

The minute I figured "what the hell let's throw that offer" at him and actually got a response back that he was interested... shoot... I was like lets get this trade done ASAP before he changes his mind.
He ran close to 2000 rounds through her. Along with the trade he added 50 rounds, the original case, 3 mags 1x12 and 2x10 rounders, and a custom made holster.
With my trade he got the original case, 3x13 rounder mags, 200 rounds of Federals with the ammo box/can and a GG&G picatinny rail adapter. When I got the USP already installed into the pistol was tru glow sights, and it was a variant 3 (No safety just a de-cocker)... I also shot over a thousand through her.
I am just as surprised and still freaken stoked about the whole thing... |

This pistol is so freaken accurate.
At 25 yards or so 3 fast trigger pulls I get an 2 inch group lined up vertically.
At 50 yards shooting at a 30" high 18" wide target shooting it as fast as I can squeeze the trigger/dumping a mag...out of 12 rounds I got 7 on the silhouette
At 80+ yards shooting at a 30" high 18" wide target and this time taking a little more time pulling the trigger I got 4 out of 12. I was aiming for the head and was hitting torso off to the right and left nothing centered (but one close one.. just 2 inches off to the right).
I am at a wow with this pistol. I can imagine putting a bipod on this thing and going prone position... probably get 2 inch groupings at a hundred yards or something.
Anybody else have similar experiences and or accuracy with any other pistols out there?
I love my MARK23! If I could I would get another one... I've shot a Ruger1911, Colt GOLD CUP 1911, RockIsland 1911, and a Browning 1911 all in .45's and this one is by far my favorite .45. The follow up shots I've experienced with this MARK23 is ridiculous and really accurate. Only wish it could have a lighter trigger... just a little lighter... My downside: Pricey mags and no SERPA Holsters (gotta get it custom made if your looking for kydex)
All in all.. if you guys come across one of these bad boys for sale. DO NOT HESITATE!!! BUY IT!!! You will not regret.
