Charlie moved on

Yes we have closed the shop and I have moved on. I have a friend who owns a machine shop and I am developing / making AR15 receivers for him, working on the uppers right now.
GWLA still has receivers in stock that are for sale, call Faye.
It has been a pleasure making receivers for y'all.
If anybody has a question about their receiver you can call me, weekend and Fridays please, I work 4-10's now 850-259-4129

See y'all later Charlie

Thanks from XXIV Corps, XM25Ren and unkola

Feb 10, 2017 - I see the GWLA banner ad at the top of the M14/Firing Line forum page? So I go to the GWLA website and it looks active? I see they are still listed on our forum's page as a site sponsor.

Did I miss something?

Are they still in business?

As far as GWLA I think it's all over but the crying as far as their M 14 .
Although they still may have a few receivers left for sale.
Rip bought GWLA's CNC machine , tooling , et al , etc. everything used to make the receiver,
and from what I heard is attempting to bring out a new M14 line under the B.A.R. name.

It's just really hard to make enough profit to have a viable business when the demand for units is small even though the quality is high.

SAI's domination of the market even without the best "mil-spec-ed-ness" smothers competition.
