New LRB on the way....

I haven't been around here much since my last Rifle write-up and having my balls busted about it.
But so many decent guys that love their M14's reached out which proved their IS one bad apple in every barrel I guess.....

In the meantime, I bought a third LRB....
I called them about a month ago and asked what goodies they'd be showing at SHOT.
They had this Rear-Lug, Bedded, GAP Camo McMillan, Medium Stainless Criterion Barrel, GG&G Bi-Pod, etc...
I bought it!
The scope in the picture isn't mine....was just used by LRB for demo purposes.
I bought a Schmidt & Bender 10x42-PM-II Fixed Power for this Rifle.

I'll take actual action photos later this month.

I also bought a TNVC black padded cheek-riser, along with a nylon sling from Brownell's...
I'm just deciding on which Scope-Rings I want....thinking Badger (Steel).
Trying to decide on height??

Anyway...looking forward to it!

That's a beautiful rifle right there. I'm sure you're going to like it.

Congratulations! Some people don't understand the principle of you get what you pay for! That looks to be one fine rifle. Please send a range report. I would rather have one good gun as five cheap guns.

Outstanding rifle! You have a great colliection started. I'm really looking forward to range report and pics from the field.

You need a group photo.

I will sometime this month for sure....

Did I show you my first two together?
PS: I have 3 TNVC cheek-risers coming this week for the 3 rifles....thought I'd try those.

What are your thoughts on the S&B 10x42 FIXED-power scope?

Thanks!

I'm probably going to yank the Scope, Rail, and Cheek-Riser off of the shorter 18 1/2" Rifle and keep it as a Truck-Gun...

I have one of my heel stamped Poly-Tech M-14 USGI/TRW M-14 clones in a USGI fiberglass woodland camo stock and it's gorgeous piece of work. It was done by a pal who's a 5th Special Forces Group Warrant Officer who paints then as a hobby. Some years back, as the retired police chief of our city, I gave his youngest son who is a fine young man, a glowing recommendation so that his boy could get a job in police work. I supplied the paint/materials and he woodland camoed this stock for me.

That's a beautiful rifle, I'm a bit jealous of that one, love that camo'd stock especially.

Good choice, the LRB is begging to be a long distance shooter!

You sir have great taste in M14s, a bet expensive but great none the less. I too, believe in quality over quantity as you always get what you pay for.

That McMillan camo stock is the bomb!

Well done Sir!

Thanks guys!

I wasn't sure about the GAP-Camo, (I LOVE the Forest Camo) but if it shoots better than me, I'll be happy.
AND....I'm SURE it will shoot better than me!
Haha...
