I know brownells has the little tools for the, you may check there. That's odd must have been Monday morning or Friday evening. I would give everything on it several close looks.

I can't believe this!
I would have been on the Blower (Phone) as soon as I opened the Box!
This is totally unacceptable!

Of course I looked it over with the FFL that is was the correct rifle (standard M1A) but once I got it home I set to inspecting/cleaning/function checking it and boom...there it...ISN'T. I have email off with the pics to SA.

Hmm the quality control guy must have been asleep while on duty. As stated allready, Brownells should have what you need.

Awards Showcase

There is no crossbolt, as found on a Mauser rifle. There is a small spanner screw on each side that holds the stock liner in place.

1. See if the liner is in place.

2. Get on the phone to SAI Customer Service.

You need a special bit/tool in order to tighten the spanner screws. The tool is about $10 and is available from Brownells along with the screws, but this rifle should never have left the factory this way.

(You also should never have accepted it from your dealer this way )

NO! BS! Buy what is missing from a $1200/$1400 dollar Rifle? Total BS.
You don't fix this you make a Big Stink!
What if they forgot the Barrel? You go buy one from Brownells or Midway?

Thanks from m14brian and hytekrednek
