I have switched to an SA Gen 4 and love it. No movement, does not loosen. It is my choice of a rail. Pinned and locked down in three places. Who else can say that?

I'm glad to hear someone say they like them, SA should make mounts for their rifles.

I just received my new BASSET mount today(HIGH) . I do not regret my purchase directly from BASSETMACHINE (10 days only to arrive in France)
It is a solid piece and well finished, I intend to use it as soon as I receive my new LEUPOLD VXIII ordered also at RIFLESCOPESTORE (thanks the U.S.A)

Thanks from Wasted ammo

The SA Gen 4 mount is not bad. It's another copy of the Brookfield mount and available in steel as well as aluminum. It's not a bad lower cost alternative, but doesn't measure up to the quality of Sadlak or even SEI. I like the open rail design which reduces the chance of brass hitting the mount and bouncing back into the action. Early ARMS mounts did this as well as Unertl, who never got theirs into production. I have examples of the Unertl prototypes in both standard and long rail lengths. Wish they would have followed through.

Thanks from deiter and Wasted ammo
