Always amazed.

I find my self amazed at the number of bags of parts that go into an assembly. This morning I was working on some Bula trigger housings and thought folks might just like to see the number of bags of parts it takes to make them work. As many times as I haul parts out of the bins, it never fails to amaze. And this was just for two trigger groups. Then I have to remember to reorder so the bins stay full.

Shop is too neat and clean-can't be doing too much work with everything put away neatly and no "stuff" on the bench. Even when I first set up my shop it was never that way. Have to fight like mad to keep wife from going in there and "cleaning"-when that happens I can never find anything! I dream of having a parts bin like that. Oh, well, maybe someday.

Nice personal warehouse you have Art.
I've always thought the opposite. Most common firearms seem pretty simple and basic.
With about 60 parts in the M1a, half are springs, pins, screws, nuts.
There's just not much to it as evidence by the fact that I can take it apart and put it together. If I can do it, it must be basic.

Take a look under the hood of a car and now you got some parts to stock.

I keep a few M1s worth of CMP parts. and re-order as I pull stuff out of storage. Great to have most parts only a few feet from the workbench. Nice thing about Bula Defense is they are now available through Jon Wolfe. So easy to click on what you want and almost instantly get a confirmation email. From my observations, they are as good or better than USGI.

I agree 100%!

I have a nice little stash of Bula parts here, plus another nice little stash of Bula parts sitting at UPS as I type this, and finally an order with Mr. Wolfe for another nice little stash of Bula parts just after the holidays.

I, too, have a few packs of those CMP parts laying around.....

Now, tell me more about those old war horse trigger packs that I see with the broken tip safeties, please!

Just a couple of old SA groups that showed up here with the broken safeties. There are replacement safeties in the same drawer, but they are WRA and I didn't want to use them at this time. Just spare parts.
