I think firearms companies need to get all together and start cutting off firearms, parts and services to federal and state agencies of any state that hamper down or looks to hamper down on the firearms business and the second amendment.

If they did I surely wouldn't buy from any company that didn't join in with support.
After the squeeze comes in on those agencies and they can't get the firearms, parts and services they need, they'll feel what we feel and I think the agencies themselves will start to put the pressure on the bureaucracy to back the hell off.

Some of our politicians don't worry a damn about our rights to protect themselves since they've got their own security forces to watch their lowlife backs.
Turn those forces against them and they'll start to feel how cold it can be out there.

I see a MySpace page.

Smile firearm manufacturers

I believe a similar thing happened with Barrett Arms the 50BMG guys. Apparently, a Barrett 82a1 became the center piece for an anti 50 BMG bill. The gun was on loan from the California State Police. --------------

Barrett will no longer service their guns anymore.

Yep Barrett did take the lead on that and it was the right thing to do. I highly respect them for it and the other firearm manufacturers, builders, parts suppliers and gunsmiths need to join.
Bans, more restrictive laws and stomping out our second amendment rights in any way even in the smallest detail will effect us all eventually and everyone needs to stand together against this tyranny.

Quite a few are affected, and Texas is ready to have
Springfield back. Any state with 2A restrictions gets
no ammo or firearms, period. The Manufacturers are
going to have to get tough because what their Trade
Groups have done up to has been apeasement.

I agree, but we will split them with ya. Ruger has found Arizona to be a good state to opperate in.

About time Firearms Companies stuck together. The entire shooting culture should boycott all areas that attempt to tread on the 2nd Ammendment and Individual Freedoms.

When Geeck and I went to the NRA Convention here in St. Louis, we chatted with a few of the Springfield Armory, Inc. representatives. Next to the M1A displays, handling the rifles.

One person, fairly high up in the company organization, mentioned Missouri offered to move the entire company and its employees plus other incentives. He was ready to pick out an acre on a lake here. But - the controlling families still had loyalty to Illinois.

A changing legislative environment can force reconsideration.

The question is why are so many firearms manufacturers located in Illinois?

Springfield Armory?
Rock River Arms?
LMT?
Armalite?
Les Baer?

I think M&A Parts and Model 1 Sales are also located there?

Illinois is almost worse that Kalifornia, why put a business there that is sure to come under fire by stupid politicians???

Especially Emperor Daley???

Sad

What is so sad about Illinois. They are willing to loose 60 million in annual revenue, and spend 300 million to enforce the assault weapons ban if it passes. ( In the 1st year alone.) They have alredy driven out most well paying manufacturing companys, and owner operators. Trucking companys left in droves a few years ago. The Illinois Govmnt DOES NOT CARE. I am ready to move back to My home state of TEXAS !!!
