Well, I must be an outdated revision of American because if that was an "explosive" exchange then I'm a firebrand from the deepest pit in Hades!
Good grief! "Explosive" is when you end up in Contempt of Congress (which is about as scary as being in Contempt of Ronald McDonald)! "Explosive" usually involves throwing things, heavy things, things that break bones or leave people unconscious.
This was a bunch of club members practicing their craft.
I've been practicing law for 34 years and I don't want any part of the Cruz Missile. He reminds me of a new William F. Buckley, but without the arrogance and all the yankee mannerisms (no offense intended to my latitudinally-challenged brethren here). Just by asking a question he makes her position seem so out in left field.
I had never heard of Cruz until I started getting all this crap in the mail and email from 'the establishment'. That got my attention and the more I poked around the more I liked him.
Thanks for posting these videos Ch orb. They are great. Feinstien and Leahy and Durbin are all first class examples of Liberalism run amuck! After saying she has great respect for the constitution I'm sure God reserved a spot for her down below. Egotism at its highest level was displayed here today.
Ted Cruz did a great job.
I tip my hat to him for being so composed and even handed. I would be tempted to take out my pocket constitution and slap'em with it.
Cruz voiced a very good question which was not answered. And the lefties ganged up on him.
Cruz missed a great opportunity when asked by Dianne if the people need military style, high powered rifles and bazookas. Cruz should have answered with YES! US code 32 states thats this very clearly as did the heller decision as to weapons common to the times.
When we allow the left to control the conversation and get batted into using terms they created we allow them to control the argument and control the outcome.
Smoke and mirrors! Big words and side stepping is the tactics of the left.
The facts still stand and the republicans seam to alway forget to bring up the truly valid points and law.
I am a free US male, military vet. I am a member of the militia and the Heller case has stated that weapons used in these times are the weapons the constitution is taking about.
To allow the opportunities like this to slip by w/o bringing these things up and ponying out the reason for 2A is not for deer hunting, and not for personal protection alone but so we as a people have the power to protect ourselves and over throw the govt if and when it is not longer, for the people, by the people, of the people, and does not uphold the constitution of this land.
