So wait....stands its ground?

To me "standing their ground" would be the following: We are going to stay here in Colorado and continue our operation, producing what we want to produce when we want to produce it and your petty little laws can get bent.

Not necessarily the same message as "if you pass these laws we are going away." As far as the Gov is concerned that's probably one less company he has to worry about making trouble...and precisely the reason they are advocating for the laws to be passed in the first place. What's a few hundred employees compared to an entire state?

I wish Magpul the best though. I've got some of their stuff on my rifles, it's decent.

There is only one action. Vote them out. Plain and simple.
All of them.
In every state.
The NRA better pick up its game, and quick, because it feels like they are getting fat, rich and lazy on our dollars, and doing nothing. We need a new spokesperson. NOW.
To Me, your post is contradictory...

There is no point in 'fighting' because the only way of winning is to vote them out...AFTER THE FACT?

I have posted how Public Opinion/Outrcry/Pressure in Wyoming just this week made the House Speaker do a 180 !
And Yes, the NRA and several other national groups jumped in very quickly and effectively.

IF WE...CANNOT MUSTER ENOUGH RKBA PATRIOTS TO FIGHT THIS CRAP...WHY WOULD YOU BELIEVE WE CAN VOTE ANYBODY OUT OF OFFICE !?

THAT...I don't get...

I think "standing their ground" is in reference to them saying they will leave regardless of the exemptions/amendments allowing them to stay.

They will leave on principle.

As the law is currently written now, they would have to leave unless something has changed. But when it was in committee the other day, CEO of magpul told them they would have to leave, and the cowards seemed genuinely concerned about it. They told him that they want him to stay and have no problem with magpul operating in the state.

What a minute!!! So you mean to tell me you want to ban these evil mags, yet at the same time, you have no problem collecting millions of $$$ from the sale and profit of those evil magazines to other people in other states??

Hypocrites of the highest order!

I'm not sure who you're talking to but it would be lazy for us to let just the NRA speak for us. Voting is two years away. Why wait until then to do something? The mentality of waiting for someone else to do it for you is a big part of the reason we're dealing with this.

I think a majority of people on this forum understand their true endgame and that they don't care if Magpul leaves. That doesn't mean we should be mute and not try.

It's hard to fight the vast financial resources of the anti-gun crowd;

bu we are doing our best.

later, dozer

p.s. I'll bet there have been major campaign donations to the Dems pushing these new attacks on the second amendment

We are proud to announce that within a matter of days we will be going live with a new program. Due to a bill currently moving through the Colorado legislature, there is the possibility that Colorado residents' ability to purchase standard capacity magazines will soon be infringed. Before that happens, and Magpul is forced to leave the state in order to keep to our principles, we will be doing our best to get standard capacity PMAGs into the hands of any Colorado resident that wants them.

Verified Colorado residents will be able to purchase up to ten (10) standard capacity AR/M4 magazines directly from Magpul, and will be given immediate flat-rate $5 shipping, bypassing our current order queue.

Our customers outside of Colorado, please know that our PMAG production will continue at an ever-increasing rate until we do relocate, shipments to our distributors in other states will continue, and that we do not expect relocation to significantly impact PMAG production. We are also aware that Colorado is not the only state with existing or pending magazine capacity restrictions; we are working on programs for other affected states as well.

Full details and instructions will be announced when we are able to go live; please watch here for the coming announcement.

Thanks from russ0861 and rockymtn

Come on for Konnecticut!!! I'll buy 10 just to support them, even though I really don't need the mags.
