A military veteran delivered a passionate defense of the Second Amendment at a Chicago-area anti-gun “forum” Sunday, saying he went to war to protect all Americans’ inalienable rights — including the right to bear arms. Libtards HAVE NEVER HAD A LEG TO STAND ON with ANY of their arguments/beliefs. They don't argue points with empirical data, nor real life experiences, they merely slander their opponents in the hope bad press will sway people to their side.

Worse yet, they have been correct in their assessment of the American populus (at least recent generations) for they have swayed ignorant people to their side using nothing more than slander, libel, and other lies.

The aviator veteran in this video was calm, collect, and behaved EXACTLY how we 2nd Amendment supporters should when faced against the evil Oompa Loompas (libtards).

I saw this same video on t.v. last night...very inspiring argument indeed... but what was even more surprising to me was the amount of pro gunners there to show their discontent with libtard policies! Lol! Simply awesome...

Another observation:

Totally non PC, but am I the only one to notice that those most stridently against the 2nd Amendment tend to the most pussified? That ultra liberal speaker claiming the 2nd A is not longer relevant seems the biggest wuss in the room.

I'm not just joking here- My observation is that the most anti 2nd A people tend to be more weak in bearing, stature and attitude. Anyone care to comment on why this is so?

Our military, sadly, had been stuffed with these pussified types, in the last twenty odd years, many in the officer ranks, including generals and admirals. This latest, troubling revelation about our military leaders being asked whether they'd fire on American citizens is proof.

i was in a conversation with a guy i work with the other day and he told me that his friend believed the constitution was dead and has been for a long time we just haven't realized it yet... makes me sad

That's a great video and the gentleman who spoke out did a good job of speaking. The event had sprung up for one location and then moved to another on short notice.

The Illinois State Rifle Association does a great job of keeping the members notified of such things. This meeting was no exception. Below is the body of the ISRA email and news alert following this meeting in Glenview, Illinois.

Those forum members from Illinois, if not already a member should seriously consider joining. It's only $25 a year. There will also be a pro-gun rally in Springfield this coming March, it's called IGOLD for Illinois Gun Owners Lobby Day.

1. Keep in mind that the Illinois General Assembly goes back into session on January 29th. After that, it will be Katie bar the door when it comes to anti-gun bills being introduced. Please keep a careful watch on your email for alerts on legislative updates. We may need you to take action immediately to counter the trickery of the gun controllers in the legislature.

2. Gun shops and gun shows report very heavy traffic this weekend, in part due to Saturday being “Gun Appreciation Day” and the general mood of the nation.

3. Thanks go out to everyone who attended the gun control meeting in Glenview on Sunday. It was good to hear that gun-rights supporters’ numbers were so overwhelming that the fire department had to restrict admittance to the auditorium. So many gun rights supporters showed up so early that gun controllers got locked out of their own meeting! We have heard from a few people who had never been to such a meeting in the past. They were shocked at the level of disrespect for the U.S. Constitution displayed by the gun-controllers who organized the event. One attendee compared the hatred for American traditions spewed by the gun-controllers to the rhetoric he heard from Taliban prisoners he guarded in Afghanistan . Our people were shocked further by the unabashed lies and misconceptions about private firearm ownership that were pushed by the gun-controllers who spoke. The impression that one attendee took away from the meeting was that the gun-controllers hate law-abiding firearm owners more than they dislike the people who commit violent crimes. Again, thanks to everyone who turned out for the Glenview event. The gun controllers need to understand that preservation and protection of gun rights is not a joke to us and that we will challenge them every time they attempt to attack the constitution. 4.
