Bill Clinton to Democrats: Donít trivialize gun culture

http://www.politico.com/story/2013/0...ure-86443.html

Bill Clinton is no dumb ass when it comes to understanding how to fool people into accepting gun control. Saturday night he gave the Democrats some pointers. This article is interesting and I think it brings up some points that the pro gun crowd should keep in mind as well.

thank goodness. he said everything i have wanted these dems to know.

they will LOSE THEIR SEAT if they vote for these measures.

Bill sees the big picture.

the AWB last decade caused the contract with america, and the eventual reign of the GOP.

If I were telling this to an anti gunner i'd also point out that some could even say that voting for the AWB in 94, may have caused the wars in afghanistan and iraq. (i don't believe this , but that's not the point, the point is convincing liberals that they need to worry about poor mexican illegals and rich unmarried gays which is whats next).

Perhaps Mr. Clinton is beginning to realize that he is not leaving much of a "legacy" after all.

I think Klintoon was trying to say, "If you vote for a gun ban, you will get voted out of office."

Well it’s obvious he remembers what happened last time, and I bet knows it will be worse this time around. The house will just block anything from coming to the floor for a vote until the senate passes a bill and that is unlikely to be anything meaningful in it. I don’t see anything coming out of the senate that has weapons ban, mag limits in it.

Yeah, but that is pretty normal. If you go to any of the big newspaper websites such as New York Times or whatever, it is all like that regarding gun control article comments. All day, every day. On the bright side, it can be a good motivator.

They hate us, our way of life and our guns. They would love nothing more than to take our guns and force us to follow their edicts; as put forth by their supreme leader. Didn't know that this country was ruled by a king. After his blah, blah, blah last night, someone sure thinks so.

Did you see the article attached?
One of the guns listed as possibly being banned is the FN/FAL and the related picture was a P90

Ah yes, I remember when anything 5.7 was making liberals shit their pants. They tried like hell to ban them then.

Wow they are lying so bad it’s not funny, they are mention the characteristics of the full auto versions and attachments that are illegal to own. I hope The Five, or Lou Dobbs calls them out, but from the date of the article I guess not.

So goes Obama, so goes the Bill Clinton legacy. But Bill hasn't made seperation yet. If he grows a set before he dies he'll be long remembered as a great president. Exposing Obama would be the mark of a real man!

Nevertheless, I'm going to keep a keen eye on Dana, Kimberly, and Andrea tomorrow, just in case.

I like it how he says to not look down your noses on them. Then at the end he says this:

“A lot of these people … all they’ve got is their hunting and their fishing,” he told the Democratic financiers. “Or they’re living in a place where they don’t have much police presence. Or they’ve been listening to this stuff for so long that they believe it all.”
