Exclamation Starbucks "I love guns and coffee" Counter Protest - Did you visit one today?

I didn't know if any of you heard about the counter protest against the anti-gun liberals that was happening today. They were boycotting Starbucks because Starbucks stood firm and refused to start prohibiting firearms from their stores as requested by these liberals. So today was the day where gun owners responded to Starbucks locations all accross the country and purchased something with a "2 dollar bill" (two dollar bill representing 2nd amendment).

I went earlier with my family and bought everyone something and payed all with two dollar bills....lol. Best part? I was waering my NRA logo t-shirt! My wife snapped a few photos and it wasn't until I came home and went to post my photo on Starbucks Facebook page did I realize how big this thing really was! HOLY CRAP!!! If you don't believe me, go see for yourself...yall will LOVE this! So it's not too late! Go visit Starbucks and support them for supporting us and standing up and having a backbone against the anti-gunners! Go 2nd!!!

If you did happen to visit and take any photos, please feel free to post them on Starbucks Facebook page or on my blog Facebook page:

Yeah I thought so too...guess not! I mean in reality they probably are just neutral on the matter. The point is is that when all other companies caved in under the pressure and started banning patrons from carrying in thier stores, Starbucks stood firm and refused to change their policy...which was that as long as the local laws allowed concealed or open carry, they would allow it in thier locations. Which in itse;f is awesome...I don't think Starbucks realized how much support they would get for doing it. I bet they are overwhelmed right now with how much support they are getting!

I went I bought I supported! And I don't lime starbucks coffee!

But I love a company with a moral compass and stands up for all of our rights!

Nice to see this in a world of big business and in a country that is pretty much morally bankrupt!

SAPPNASTY, thanks for the heads up. I too, as tokiwartooth stated, thought they were a bunch of liberals. I just e-mailed corporate headquarters and informed them I would seek out their product and tell all my gun buddies about their stance pertaining to the 2nd amendment. Everyone that frequents this forum should do likewise. I feel certain a group of senior management types probably carry concealed, but that just might be me.

Naaahhh... Starbucks stores in and around Richmond still allow cigar smokers (like me)to use the outside tables despite pressure from the anti-smokers. If you like strong coffee, try theirs sometime. I get their "bold" (or dark roast) and have'em add 2 shots of espresso to it. Also, since this is an open carry state, it's nice to be able to go in a store where you know they won't call 911 just because you're carrying.

I like the idea of supporting Starbucks, but who came up with the idea of paying with a $2 bill? That's plain stupid.

It's extra effort for supporters to go to the bank (which defacto means fewer people will do it), and it's extra effort for Starbucks to accept them, since there is no slot for them in the cash drawer, and once they get mixed in with ones, they risk getting miscounted. What a great way to thank someone .... not!

Pain in the rear all the way 'round.

Apparently some folks at ITS Tactical had some issues at a Starbucks in FT worth Texas accepting their 2 dollar bills. You can read the article on their site. But good work guys cause a man cannot live without coffee or guns

The truth is that the Starbucks high-ups are Liberals, but in the classic sense almost.
More Reagan Democrats.
They do want the classic Dem things, but still believe in the rights of the person and such.

I just can't bring myself to spend $6 on a drink I make at home for $.50.

I drink a Starbucks Grande Pike everyday. I can't determine if it's the cute girls or the great brew that draws me there. Maybe it's a little of both
