sadly many will always support 'the law' because its the law after all, and have zero concept of the BoR etc, even some here and on other gun forums. Sad state of things

lesson 1- dont ever let anyone know you carry a gun
lesson 2-dont live in new jersey
....that guy on the vid was ridiculous. was it just me or did he have an ambiguously effeminate tone to him?....hahaha. kind of makes you want to plant a gun on him and rat him out for the grand just to get him off the streets.........and then donate the thousand dollars to the NRA. i know this sounds bad but after the whole Jersey Shore thing, you wish more of these city rats would blast one another away in the name of natural selection. for you southern boys out there.......save your Confederate money, because if politicians start talking like this below the Mason Dixon Line then im calling for another secession. (half kidding? )
what are the odds one of these hood rats turns in his own gun-totin' buddy for the cash so he can go and buy his own gun off the black market? this sounds like a typical liberal idea that came out of the oven half baked from a yankee ne'er do well idealist trying to sell his ground breaking concept to a committee full of bleeding heart do-gooder politicians, who are tying to come up with newer and trendier ways of looking busy so they can fill their quota of funding for the year.
i know.....im being a jerk........someones got to do it.

What I heard was... The Mayor from Newark, New Jersey will give anyone who knows of someone carrying a illegal gun on the streets a $1k for that info.
He said it at the 2 minutes and 10 sconds, plus it's posted in the aid as well.
Just the illegal gun carrying.
He's holding only $46, the rest went for his bling bling chain...

How would you like to have your tax dollars go to that? What a freaking joke. We may run out of places to move to after a while.
Whatsinaname 181 - I really like the way you think.

Look, this is the wave of the future. You better be willing to stand for what you belive in...know your rights. Rating out someone when they are a law abiding citizen reminds me of the old USSR. There may be a time in the near future when feds are kicking in doors to search for what the goverment deems "contraband".

Look, this is so dead simple... Newark is the hood... no two ways about it... (2003 per capita income $13,900)
Bring in a bunch of high point pistols and sell them in said hood to local residents. Call the number, get the $1000. Now not only are you getting paid for selling the gun ($$$), but then the city is paying you ($$$$), and you'll be getting local residents off the street (reducing urban overcrowding). Sure with 30% living below the poverty line and on welfare, you'll need cheap guns, but that's not a problem. Only downside is that it will seem racially motivated because 74% of Newark is a non-white population...

| Texas has 601 cities at or below that level. Are they all the "Hood"?
Maryland has 27...
Per capita income means little. Newark happens to have some decent areas. Some areas, not so much.
