I haven't been to Baltimore in a few years. Liked the area I was in.

But that's not the point. The comment I referred to and the only comment was that the entire character of the cities residents were judged simply by the factor of the Per Capita income.

Quite frankly, take most upper income cities and you can always find an area that is less than desirable.

Personal view...if the residents care one bit about the quality of life in their own city, they shouldn't expect to be paid to do the right thing. Limiting it to firearms only is nonsense. Although they have had some random shootings. These types of incidents even upset the most cynical. The eastern end of the city rarely has any incidents which surprises even me to a point. That is the tourist/business area.

The vast majority of the other gun incidents are between rivals of some sort. they are not random. In fact, those are virtually unheard of in the area.

So, is it a garden spot? Not by a long shot. But I think I made my issues a bit clearer.
