| Holder blames Americans for gun-running Quote:
Attorney General Eric Holder scolded The Daily Caller’s reporting on the Fast and Furious gun-running scandal shortly after government officials and reporters heard him admonish Americans for funding gun-runners.
Holder appeared Tuesday at a White House event to showcase a new media campaign that is intended to stigmatize the selling and buying of knock-off videos and counterfeit fashion products.
Holder recorded one critical radio ad, which is titled “You can help.” The clip was played to the audience in the White House auditorium.
“This is Attorney General Eric Holder. We are working hard to protect our communities by reducing gang violence and organized crime and there is an important and simple way that you can help. Some street gangs and organized crime groups are selling counterfeit products, such as fake watches, DVDs and purses, as an easy way to make money. And they use that money to fund other crimes, like trafficking in drugs and guns.”
“When you buy knock-offs on the street or online, although it may not be obvious, you could be supporting gangs, putting money in their pockets and helping them to engage in other illegal activities that put our communities at risk,” said Holder in the radio ad.
More than 50 congressmen have called on Holder to resign because of his role in Operation Fast and Furious, which allowed gun-traffickers to buy thousands of guns in the United States, and then allowed them to transport those guns to violent drug gangs in Mexico.
The guns trafficked in Fast and Furious have been linked to the deaths of more than 300 people in Mexico, and at least one U.S. law enforcement officer. Hill legislators have subpoenaed the White House for more information on the gun-trafficking program, but White House officials are refusing to hand over documents.
None of the legislators calling for his resignation are Democrats.
Holder is a Democrat, and formerly served as a top lawyer for President Bill Clinton.
Holder appeared to blame The Daily Caller, not congressional alarm over the administration’s gun smuggling and resulting murders, for the resignation demands.
“You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it,” he told TheDC.

Thats obamas "transparent" administration/regime for you. Eric Holder is got to be the dumbest law enforcement officer in the world to purposely let loose high powered weapons to scummy mexican drug gangs/dealers, in hopes of somehow prosecuting them latter?
I mean WTF ???
He should be in jail for either his role in this mess, hiding up the mess, lying about the mess or just plain incompetence, but obama likes to surround himself with incompetent people, that way he looks "normal" LOL

If everyone remembers that before he got caught with his fast and furious op he was blaming gun stores and dealers for running guns to Mexico. He even showed a 20mm cannon that was conficated from a gang and tried to blame it on American gun dealers and gun show's.
Now that we know that it was him and his gun hating menion's that was giving the gun's to Mexican gang's he is trying to lie his way out of it with the help of the American press.
They will stonewall it untill the election and hope people forget all about it. If your congress man is a democrat call him and ask him why he doesn't think it is important to investate.
I think you will find out most of the democrat congress men and senator's are just giveing lip service for gun right's and if they could vote for gun control and get reelected we would wind up like england etc.

Nothing really is making headlines since they're in bed with Obama's administration and won't report on anything controversial to Obama. So, you're 100% correct that the transparency is absolutely not part of their operation.
I don't think prosecution was ever in the plan here, I firmly believe that all of this was meant to allow them to point the finger at the USA's gun laws for the violence in Mexico and the Southern USA in an attempt to attack the 2nd Amendment.
These people need to be punted out of Washington....quickly.

He and the Chosen One come from the same school of misinformation and propaganda, where Professor Ayers taught class. Deflection and redirection of blame.

Imo,, bolder colluded with billary and obummer to traffic those guns, only and only, to create the need for greater gun control in this country. Had nothing to do with tracking to the cartel, they had no mechanisim to do so! There was no locating devices planted in any of the weapons, plus, who would be on the ground in mexico to put eyes on them? Unarmed atf agents? The mexicans knew nothing about the operation.
I am a retired le officer, when this case first hit, my thought was what was the plan or purpose? I took me about 5 min to come to the above conclusion. There was no other reason viable.
Remember all the dadoo over the guns traced for a year or so prior the expose' hillary was claiming 95% of the guns recoverd in mexico by the mexican gov came from the u.s. And the bad gun dealers in the southwest.
Believe, they are trying to do away with your gun rights. No paranoia, this is fact.
When bill was in office he did his best to limit us. He even cut an exec order to have DRMO disable all tactical comm equipment going out on auction so it would not be of use to the militia's growing in the country. Equipment had been sold intact since WW2! MANY MANY hams got their start on this stuff.
They also blocked the sale of bdu's because they helped give the milita's a tactical advantage due to the ir treatment. That later fell apart due to the fact the chemistry was washed out over time.

While D.C. v. Heller was being heard by the Supreme Court in 2008, Holder joined the Reno-led amicus brief, which urged the Supreme Court to uphold Washington, D.C.'s handgun ban and said the position of the Department of Justice, from Franklin Roosevelt through Clinton, was that the Second Amendment does not protect an individual right to keep and bear arms for purposes unrelated to a State’s operation of a well-regulated militia. Holder said that overturning the 1976 law "opens the door to more people having more access to guns and putting guns on the streets."
In late 2007, Holder joined then-United States Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign as a senior legal advisor. He served on Obama's vice presidential selection committee....do you know WHO ELSE was on that committee? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2812518/posts |
