+1. Somebody who understands what's really going on. "Marauders" is the right word. Beggars and hobos were so 1930's. There's a world of difference and a world of hurt. It's already here. Don't look for the police to protect you. They can't. Remember New Orleans during Katrina? The key thing about "capacity" - whatever your choice - is proficiency. If you're good with a Garand or a Carbine, carry that with plenty of load-ready ammo. If you're good with a .45 or a .357, same deal, carry two. Or your AR, AK, SKS, whatever. Your enemy's flesh is indifferent, as long as you find it before your enemy finds yours'.

I've found this works best for larger crowds.

Not in PA. We are a 'castle doctrine' state and anyone usin g lethal force is protected by law as long as he is legally armed and in a place he has a legal right to be. Walking down the street and set upon by a mob , and beaten for no reason , in fear for your life. Open fire , fire at will!

When a mob attacks you, it is a disparity of force situation. You have the right to use deadly force if neccesary to avoid
serious physical injury or death.

tomhorn1913; Be careful there, Lemmy -

The Constitution does NOT say you can have one. That is exactly what the Founding Fathers knew they had to avoid. They acknowledged that GOD allows you to have one. If any man, or any man-made document GAVE you permission, then man could change his mind & revoke that permission. It is the wisdom & understanding of our forefathers that gave us our "nearly-divine" Constitution to clarify for all right-minded patriots that ALL our freedoms & liberties come from the Almighty. & only He can revoke them.

But I know that's what you meant... :)

Peace,

Matt,

You are absolutely and unequivocally correct my brother, I am honored to have you on the forum, your input gives clear understanding as to why we have guns in the first place.

I always called them full capacity but I like standard capacity too.

The problem is, even many gun owners do not fully understand Amendment II and why it is in our Constitution.
The mob attack makes perfect sense in a tactical situation. It works like a shark school attack. Very difficult to identify the particular individual who lifted your walled or the one who whacked you with the bat. It is unlikely that any of these thugs in training will see punishment for the entire crime.
Maximum gain, minimum loss.

I wish I could have them.

My M1A would look even more sexy with normal capacity mags.

If you think the normal capacity 1960s Nam era 20 round mags are sexy. You need to check out the new Check-Mate 25 round magazines.
